1989 Toyota Celica GT Convertible. Manual transmission. 130,000 kilometres. Guess how much they’re asking? Go ahead, guess, I’ll wait.
Did you guess?
Whatever you guessed, you were wrong.
Seventy.
Five .
Thousand.
!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! If you think that’s a good price, I’ve also got a bridge I’d like to sell you.

You have to remember that you’re not the target audience for this car. See how it specifies “lady owner”? This’ll get bought up quick by a Japanese vending machine company and shipped back home.

Even if it comes with the land it sits on it wouldn’t be worth that. That is, if you’d stretch it and it’s an immaculate example, a 5500 dollar car. More likely around 3000.

Got to be a typo.. But even 7500 is pushing it.
They messed up the listing saying it as a 2.2l. It has a 3sfe 2.0..
Plus it’s an 89 year model which is the most common year.
I had an 87' st162 vert was an awesome looking car. But nothing special to drive.

$7,500 would be a possible price — if it were a GT-S

“Lady owner.” Is this still a selling point to some people out there? To whom? It would be a deterrent if the lady cared as little about cars as my wife.

For sure. Pretty sure even the verts came with the 3sge in Europe.

I was going to guess 10 grand US and say ‘too much.’ But, as near as makes no difference, asking 60 grand US for what is a nice little (very) old Japanese convertible? This is just CP of the worst sort.

My mom used to street race in the 60s. She totaled a few very desirable cars. No one should ever buy a car that has ever been in my mom’s possession.

My eyes skipped down to the word in bold, so I thought the price was 5,000, and was like. “That’s a little high for a FWD Celica, but I can see it for a Toyota nerd”

That was the price five minutes before Le Mans ended, MUCH cheaper now.

Wat?! Those aren’t even original wheels, are they? Humph.
